Garrett Schwarz was operative as a stage clientele consultant for IBM when he'd at last had enough. He was no yearner interested in corporal business, since the repetitious routine wasn't originative enough for this player in the making. He had a secret docket and Balligomingo was it.

Schwarz grew up in the Chicago suburban area of Romeoville, later moving to Minneapolis during his older year of high school. He was already fond of the electronic sounds of Jean Michel Jarre and Pink Floyd thanks to his father's interests. Still, music wasn't a tangible idea, let alone a sensible life history strike. He gradational from Arizona State University with a business degree, later earning extra fine-tune credits in business. Having a typical nine-to-five job in Los Angeles was batten for awhile, merely Schwarz wasn't quenched. He was also beguiled by the melodic beauty of Enya, Massive Attack, Sunscreem, and hypnotised by the volume of Nine Inch Nails and the Prodigy. By the late '90s, he threw care to the malarkey and began fashioning music on his calculator. After talk with Delerium's Kristy Thirsk, he left for Vancouver, BC, to work with coder Vic Levak. There, the exotic sounds of Balligomingo were natural.

In 1999, Schwarz scored a conduct with RCA Victor. He, Levak, and Delerium's Bill Leeb and Chris Peterson honed Balligomingo's atmospheric instrumentals for the following year.

Seven-spot female vocalists from the U.S. and Canada were also brought in to capture Balligomingo's aesthetic saying and emotion. He made his first introduction with "Lost" organism included on the ambient techno compiling Natural elevation, Vol. 3, spell "Heating" appeared on Under Water, Vol. 1. Balligomingo's lush soundscapes were lastly spooled into a lunation trip for a debut album. In June 2002, To a lower place the Surface was released general.

Our Olympic Spirit Crushed: The Firework Footprints Were Fake

Courtesy of NBC.com

Say it ain't so, Zhang! It turns out that the very beginning of the Beijing opening ceremony we loved so much the 29 firework footprints that stepped across the city, finally landing at the Bird's Nest stadium were in fact a painstakingly created CGI image. Actual footprint-shaped fireworks were shot off captured in this video, for example but for the broadcast, the ceremony's organizers decided it would be too hard to capture the entire scene, so they faked it, complete with fake Beijing smog and fake helicopter-induced camera shaking. We're crushed! Look for news later today that Michael Phelps is a robot and beach volleyball players are actually not that hot.

BIG BROTHER: Kat To Win!

Kat seems to be emerging as one of the favorites’ to win BB9 – if not only because her fun-loving personality ensures that this year's show is not all about the recently-departed Alex!

Kat's even brought some much-needed entertainment to this week's shopping task thanks to her attempts to learn how to say “I apologise I have farted!’ in Japanese - a task that she took very seriously.
Big Brother asked her to repeat the phrase which you could see she genuinely didn’t know but was trying her best to figure it out.
What is clear with Kat is that she was trying hard in the task to help the other housemates. Unlike other contestants, she does not seems genuine and just wants to have a laugh.

It will be interesting to see if - now that Alex is out of the picture - Kat will emerge as an even bigger and stronger character within the house.

It is only the second week though so anything could happen.
In a week and a half, one housemate has been given the boot, we've had a love interest, several arguments and a lot of bitching.
Can they possibly fit anymore in? Let’s hope so!

New Mom Christina Aquilera Defends Late-Night Partying

New mom Christina Aguilera has defended her right to spend a night out without her baby son Max, saying that any criticism of her late-night outings with husband Jordan Bratman is downright "mean spirited."

"Once in a while, if I want to go out and have a mommy-daddy night with my husband, I am more than allowed to do that," Aguilera told Access Hollywood.

This past weekend she was at Las Vegas's Pure nightclub at Caesars Palace to celebrate the launch of an Xtina-inspired jewelry line, the Stephen Webster Silver Collection.

"I spend all day with my son," Aguilera, 27, told the TV show of her time spent with five-month-old Max.

"Everybody has an opinion and everybody sometimes wants to cause drama. But it's something that comes with what you do and I learned that very early on."

Amy Winehouse - Winehouse Is Recording Bond Track

Troubled singer AMY WINEHOUSE is working on a theme song for the forthcoming JAMES BOND film, according to super producer MARK RONSON.

Last month (Mar08) the Back To Black star's spokesman refuted claims she was secretly writing the title track for the movie.

But Ronson insists the pair has recorded a song and hopes it will be used for the upcoming blockbuster, Quantum Of Solace.

He says, "They asked Amy, and I think Amy said that if she did it, she'd want to do it with me. So hopefully something will come of it.

"The demo sounds like a James Bond theme, hopefully. But I don't know if it'll get used."

"I'm sure there are loads more really famous people that probably we're competing with and we don't know about. But hopefully I'll still be alive for at least 12 more Bond themes. If we don't get this one maybe we'll get another one."
